PROGRESS
Project Summary
Anchor Pacific Group came to us with a simple request but a challenging process, make their finance web design educate their clients while funneling them to the correct place and converting them to invest with the firm.
With very specific requirements and set deadlines, we have delivered a website that is not just visually appealing, but also very thought out. Each button, each section, and each effect was carefully planned out so that users have the best experience while navigating through the site.
FIRST STEP
Strategy & Planning
Being a content heavy website, we ensured a proper organization took place. Having a full website site flow allowed both Anchor Pacific Group and BragDeal’s team to be on the same page. It made things much easier to follow and analyze and provided a clear view of what parts could be improved or changed before they were developed.
By following the laid out site flow, we created a system that required minimum revisions and was optimal for an intuitive user experience.
WEB DEVELOPMENT
Putting It Together
After analyzing what Anchor Pacific Group’s market was, understanding the competitors, and following what we discovered during the strategy session, we began brainstorming and sketching.
Once we had some concepts in mind, we began the digital design process until we have arrived to the perfect style, look and feel which would be a corporate web design that fit best to represent Anchor Pacific Group to their preferred target audience.
MOBILE RESPONSIVE WEBSITE
Fluid Design Structure
While creating the web design layout, we kept in mind how each block would fit in a mobile device. Since most of Anchor Pacific Group’s audience are mobile users, it is highly likely that they will use their phone while browsing the website.
Ensuring each element is placed in a way that adapts to any screen size was our top priority. Users who are familiar with the finance industry type websites, would find our design intuitive and easy to work with.
BRANDING
Branding Strategy
Using all the elements and requirements from our client, we had to come up with a unique logo design concept.
Sketching out the anchor in various formats, we started to play with the letters forming the symbol. As we narrowed down the logo design concepts, we started to work on typographic and placement.
Design Flexibility
Marketing Material
Once the logo design has been established, we prepared all possible usage combinations for marketing purposes. Whether the logo was going to be placed on a business card, brochure, an email signature, or any other area, the logo could be adjusted to various symbol positions in order to fit the required placement.

RESULTS
Achievements
The main focus of Anchor Pacific Group’s website development was to get users to the right place once they land on the homepage of the website.
The first step was to ensure that the loading time was improved compared to the previous website. Analyzing before and after the launch, we can see quite a drastic change, slashing the load time by over 6.5 seconds, making the website 3 times faster.
Although it may not seem like a lot, if users have bad internet connection due to poor signal in their area, even 1 extra second of load time will turn in 10-15 seconds and that will get users frustrated. Moreover, search engines value fast loading websites and every millisecond counts.
new users
The website revamp made it simpler for users to find the website on search engine, as well as return to get information on the site.
Search Engine Results
Comparing the month of January 2019 to December 2018, we can see that the website generated almost 3 times more organic traffic just by having a proper backend structure.
