PROGRESS
Project Summary
Allard Prize reached out with a request to fully revamp their old site. The goals were to create a new design that would be user friendly, informative, and help members submit their photos / videos for the competitions available.
We designed the website in such a way that users will easily find what they are after and to help encourage people to submit their work.
FULL WEBSITE REVAMP
Strategy & Planning
We started by understanding the goals of the revamp, as well as the type of audience accessing the website. Step by step, we broke down each page that was important to be included in the revamped version.
This allowed us to see the page flow and decide which page should be place in specific navigation areas and which section should be placed on each page.
WEBSITE BEFORE & AFTER
Website Design Revamp
The before and after non-profit organization website design is very significant. The new website has bolder colours, larger images, and much more intuitive navigation.
RESPONSIVE LAYOUT
Mobile Friendly Design
Many of the users on this site use mobile phones and tablets. We ensured the design flow was not disrupted across the different devices. As the user scroll through the pages, the sections are clearly separated and easily found.
FONTS USED
TYPOGRAPHY
All Acumin Pro Bold
This specific font type was chosen as its sharp edges make it contrasting with the elements around. In order to keep the website uniform all around, this was font was used for titles, navigation menu items, and the rest of the content.
