Project Summary
As a growing company, Alicia wanted a logo design that would represent a luxury makeup and beauty company. Alicia’s Choice line is known for durability and quality as well as affordability so our overall brand strategy required combining all these elements and create a logo design concept that portrays all points.
Alicia strongly believed that beauty should be affordable without compromising quality, and we wanted to capture that in a brand identity that would resonate with its customers.

Discovery And Strategy
During the discovery session, we found out that the products were targeted toward woman of all ages and ethnicities who wear basic to dramatic makeup and that the target audience would be involved in modeling, pageantry and customer service. It is commonly used just for professionals to performers.
Customers picked Alicia’s Choice line over others because of cost and quality. It was and still is today on par with leading brands for a fraction of the cost.

We made sure to design the logo so that it fits various combinations of the brand theme colours.
Depending on the application the logo would be placed on, the main colours are strategically selected to add a clear contrast between the logo and the background.

The resulting brand reflected the backstory of the company which was tied to mental health, the salon, the family running the business and the owner’s modelling career.
Because of the personal and inspirational story that this brand carries, many people can relate and that requires a strong brand representation.

Alicia mentioned that she wanted a font that was easy to read and beautiful. The choice of the typography had to correlated to the crown.
Since it has sharp edges, the font had to be sharp as well so that it connects well together.

Achievements
Alicia’s Choice has evolved with a new brand look and the makeup line has become a reality. The logo was placed on the new package design, making the company have a professional appearance in the market.
Customers also feel the sense of loyalty when they buy branded products and that brings a unique experience on its own.
